FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Alright, well i'm sure a lot of you guys have questions that you would like to be answered... i will try my best to answer them for you. If, for some reason, your question is not displayed on this page, please feel free to go to the forums for an answer. if i don't know the answer, i'm sorry! ^^; For a quick find on the question you want, press 'ctrl + f ' and type in a keyword in your question. What is katsumidesign.com? Katsumidesign.com is a free graphics website, for all of your computer graphic needs. Does using these graphics cost me any money? Not at all... that's why I said it's free. How do I get graphics, i'm lost. Graphics can be found under the 'graphics' section on the navigation bar to the left. How do I get a wallpaper on my computer?? Click on the thumbnail of the wallpaper image to pull up the full sized image of the wallpaper, then right click on the image with your mouse, and go to 'save image as...' and a window will pop up. simply find a folder on your computer to save the file, and hit save, since the file should already have a name. How do I set up a wallpaper to display on my desktop? That's simple! Right click on your desktop, and click on 'properties' on the menu that pops up. Then go to 'desktop' which is the second tab, and click on the 'browse...' button. Find your file, open it, press 'apply', and if your satisfied click 'ok'. What are blogs used for? Blogs are text boxes used to display messages. Many people use them for their shops on neopets.com, or on their own webpages for a fun way to display a welcoming message. If you would like to see an example of a blog in action, go to katsumi's 'uberly bad site'. How do I use a blog? Copy the HTML code from the textbox, an easy way to do this is click in the box, press 'ctrl + a' and then right click and copy (ctrl+c) Simply go to your html code, neopets shop description, or whatever, and paste it. (ctrl+v) How do I use an Avatar right click and save the image into your computer. For online journal or fourm uses, they usually allow you to 'upload avatar' straight from your own computer. if so, just click 'upload' or 'browse' and open the image and select 'ok' or a button like that. If it only allows a web URL, i suggest making an account with photobucket.com and uploading the image there, and using the url it gives you. How do I change my buddy icon? This is easy. Simply go to 'my aim' and down to 'edit options' and then 'edit preferences'. (or pressing F3) then go to 'expressions' and clicking on 'browse PC' to the right of the window. Just open the buddy icon and it should be automatically set to your aim buddyicon. just make sure you press 'apply' and 'ok'. How do I download a cursor or desktop icon? Very very simple. Just click on the image. A window will pop up asking you to download. Click on 'SAVE', not open. save it to your computer and it should download quickly depending on your internet connection and such. If it's an animated icon, go through the same things, and after the download is finished, go to the file (which you will notice as a .zip) right click on it and click 'extract here', and the file will come out of the zip folder for use. How do I set a cursor? This may be tricky, but hold on. For windows XP users it's simple, if you're using the XP toolbar, click on start and click on 'control pannel' which is on the right dark part of the toolbar. People with editions of windows lower than XP, just hang in there and follow these instructions. Go to 'my computer'. I havn't seen an older edition in a long time, but 'control pannel' should be there on the left hand side. Now here is the easy part. After opening 'control pannel' click on 'mouse', go to the 'pointers' tab. (second tab in), click on the mouse icon you want to change and press 'browse...' and open up the cursor file wherever you saved it. I would STRONGLY suggest not putting an animated cursor file (.ani) as 'normal select'. it gets really annoying. Save them for things like 'busy' or 'working in background'. How do I change an icon on my desktop? Simple. Right click on the icon and go to 'properties'. click on 'change icon', go to the 'customize' tab, and at the bottom there is a 'change icon' button... click on that. a new window pops up, and you need to click 'browse' and open up your downloaded icon. click 'ok', and the icon should have changed. This works for all folder icons (my computer, my documents, etc.) How do I set an AIM EXPRESSION? Well, the site that i made them all isn't that great with all the pop up buttons, BUT! simply click on the image, and click on the image again, it should bring up a download and automatically set it to your aim. HELP! I can't get the expression to go on my aim!! Well, these AIM expressions only work on AIM 5.5... you can download this older version from that website..or click here. How can I join? It's not too easy to just hop in, but, if you want to be part of the site, go to the forums and make a topic somewhere under the 'katz design' category, and simply say that you would like to be a part of the site.
